Spb Diary, by Spb SoftwareHouse is a slick "Today" plug-in that performs a wide range offunctions. I'd tried other products that claimed a lot, but thisis what I ended up buying. It really helps me keep things organized andwithout taking up a lot of real estate on the screen. The program offersmultiple tabs for Notes, Calendar, Messages, Contacts, and Tasks.
Really very handybecause you can collapse all of them or expand them, as needed. So, ina sense you're really getting 5 different plug-ins for your Todayscreen. Spb Diary also integrates with many of the most popularpersonal information managers, or PIM's. And it really supportsthese PIM's. I find that most of the time I don't even have to accessthe PIM itself, but rather I do things with the PIM throughSpbDiary. I also like the fact that it has so many user-configurableoptions. You can customize general options and also task-specificoptions like Contact, Notes, Calendar, and so on. A very cool feature isthat your changes to options are visible so you can see if you likethem, or not.
Spb Diary is very easy-to-use and has an intuitive userinterface. For example, I added categories and could then assign an iconto each category. This makes it really easy to see any item that's inthe same category ... home, business, personal, and so on. Nicely done. The program is loaded with cool and useful features and it's extremelypowerful while being easy-to-use. It also keeps your Today screentotally organized and very functional. Everything is right thereand easy to access. So, if you're looking for a great program to enhancethe use of your Pocket PC or Windows Mobile device, you owe it toyourself to try out Spb Diary. I like it so well, it's not only aPick, it's a Dr. File Finder Favoriteand those are few and far between. Check it out.
