PDF Creator Plus, by PEERNETis a powerful product for creating and working with PDF (PersonalDocument Format) files. The PDF format was created by Adobe and hasbecome extremely popular. With PDF Creator Plus you can create your ownPDF files and even do highlighting. One very cool feature is the abilityto merge existing PDF documents into one file. You can also mergeother document type including emails, HTML pages, Word documents, andmore.

PDF Creator Plus lets you take PDF files and rearrange the pagesinto an order that better suits you. You can annotate your documents andadd comments, graphics, and so on. The program also supports "bookmarks"as well as hyperlinks. That's a powerful feature to have. NeoDownloader, by Neowise Software, Inc.is a slick program that was one of my Quick Picks. As you allknow there are tons of graphics, movies, and audio tracks out there onthe Internet. Perhaps you find a site that looks like it has some goodones. Yes, but who has time to sit there and download each one? Not me.That's where NeoDownloader steps in. And you have to see this toappreciate it. In testing it out I visited a number of sites. All I hadto do was drag the Web site link to the program, and drop it. We wereoff to the races with NeoDownloader.

NeoDownloader proceeded to download every graphic andaudio file from the site. Immediately I could see what was beingdownloaded and if I wanted I could easily delete anything I didn'treally want. What a timesaver, though, to be able to delete the unwantedthings rather than having to manually save the things you want. Amazingly, if you want you can have 10 sessions going at one time. Youprobably also want to make sure you have enough disk space. The programwill play video and audio content for you and you can have a slideshowof all the graphics it collects. Neat!

NeoDownloader is really easy-to-use and can be used by userswith all levels of experience. It has lots of features and someconfigurable options so it works the way you want it to. 602PC SUITE, by Software602, Inc.is a viable alternative to Microsoft Office and at a greatly reducedprice. 602PC SUITE is an "office" product that has support for theprograms found in Microsoft Office. It can work with Excel spreadsheetsas well as Word documents. This is one of a number of "Office"alternatives that have become available recently. It also gives you theability to export documents in PDF format.

602PC SUITE is full-featured and I'd be willing to say that mostpeople who try it would not find anything missing that they currentlyuse in Office. You can edit Word documents and save them. Edit Excelspreadsheets and save them. Create PDF files quickly and easily. You canalso edit your photos because the program comes with a complete systemfor doing so. So, if you'd like an alternative to the higher pricedversion, you have to take a look at 602PC SUITE. It does all thethings that most people need it to do. I recommend it.

HandyZIP, by CNetXis a neat program for keeping files compressed on your Pocket PCdevice. It's also the first Pocket PC software reviewed for my Picks. Itcan compress files and decompress them, and it works quickly. Smallersize is very important on handheld/palm devices. You need all the spaceyou can get. HandyZIP helps give you that.

HandyZIP lets you compress files so they are smaller when youhave to send them by email. They'll also take up less space in memory oron a storage card. You can view the contents of compressed files, checka files integrity, and create new ZIP files on the fly. So, if you'vebeen looking for a way to compress files on your Pocket PC, your searchmay be over. Take a look at HandyZIP.

• PerfectDesk ScreenSaver 7 by TrioSoftware
• Check ItOut!

PerfectDesk ScreenSaver 7 is a very cool screensaver product thatcreates screensavers using your photos or graphics. That's not so newbut the way this product displays them in slick. You can pick thepictures, change some configurable options,and end up with some reallyamazing screen savers. Check it out for yourself.

Wondershare Flash SlideShow Builder 2.1.7 is a nice program forcreating presentation of your photos. What's a bit different with thisone is that your slideshow is a "Flash" object. Makes it easy to shareyour digital photography with family and friends. What it also does ismakes it easy to put your photos on the Web. So, take a look foryourself.
