CaliGrapher by PhatWare Corporation, is a powerful tool forentering text on your Pocket PC/Windows Mobile device. What wasimpressive to me is that it can recognize cursive writing, printing, ora combination of the two. You can use CaliGrapher from within anyprogram and that makes it really handy.

CaliGrapher is easy-to-use and intuitive. The program not onlyhelps you write, but it also contains a spell checker so you can knowyour words are correct. It's "PenCommander" feature helps younavigate and execute scripts quickly and easily. You can easily changethe width of your "pen" as well as the color. If you wish the text youwrite can be turned into printed text. Slick!

In a very real sense, CaliGrapher is multiple writing programs inone. It's "Write Anywhere" option lets you write anyplace on thescreen, which can be very useful. The program also comes with a fullycustomizable keyboard that you can pop up in a flaxh. There's also a"Write Pad" function that takes the text you write, determineswhat it thinks you wrote, and displays it for you. If it'scorrect you can just insert it into your document, but if it's not youhave a chance to correct it.

CaliGrapher also has a "statistical analyzer" that monitorserrors and helps the program to learn while you use it. Very nicelydone. The program also supports multiple languages and you can buy packsthat support French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch,Portuguese, Swedish, and Spanish.

CaliGrapher, by PhatWare Corporation is a powerful tool thatmakes writing on a "smartphone" or PDA much easier. It's givesyou a wide range of options, checks your spelling, checks text beforeyou accept it, it learns while you use it, and much more. I like it somuch that it's not just a Pick, but it's also one of my Dr. File Finder Favorites and those are fewand far between. So, if you'd like to enter text on your device and doit easily, this is the program you have to try. I recommend ithighly.
