IM+ Mobile Instant Messenger is the way to keep in touchwith contacts in real time from your "smartphone." The really nice thingis that it supports a wide range of instant messenger programs includingYahoo, AIM, MSN, ICQ, Google Talk, and Jabber. That means you don't haveto have a different account on your phone than you do on your PC, youcan use the same one. You can chit-chat with friends who are on theirphones too or who are on their PC. Ahh, but that's not all. You can betalking to different people on different networks at the same time. So,talk to one friend on Yahoo and another on ICQ. Slick!

IM+ Mobile Instant Messenger is both easy-to-use andintuitive. It's also loaded with lots of great features that make if funto use. For example, you can group your contacts in a variety of waysincluding alphabetically, by service, by status, or by group. Theprogram keeps a history of messages so you can look back and find outexactly what someone said.

IM+ Mobile Instant Messenger includes support for proxies, making it easy to connect through a wireless connection. The programalso has a "Today" screen plug-in that you can turn off or on that showsyou how many messages you have, who's on, and more. At the same time youcan also set your status, letting others know you're away or busy. Thisis such an impressive program that it's not only one of my Picks, butit's also a Dr. File Finder Favorite andin 25 years there haven't been that many of those. So, if you'd like toIM with friends and associates from your "smartphone", this is theprogram you need to use. Well done, I recommend it!
