Note: Since by definition "smartphones" are phones that are alsoPDA's, the software reviewed here should work with personal digitalassistants that are not "smartphones". Check the operating systembecause we'll be reviewing software for both Pocket PC and Palm devices.-- Editor

Roboform , by SiberSystems is a great program for filling in forms with one click, keeping track of all your passwords, and more. It's won a number ofawards and there are a number of versions available. There's support forInternet Explorer, Firefox, NetCaptor, Avant Browser, and more. Now,there's also support for Pocket PC and Windows Mobile devices.

Wherever you go on the Internet, you're going to encounter a lot offorms! If you get tired of filling them out take a look atRoboform. On handheld device it's a huge help when you need tofill in forms. The program uses artificial intelligence (AI) to "read" aform off a Web page. Then, with just a tap it places all the requestedinformation into the form! I copied my identities over from my PCto the SD card on my phone and the mobile version of Roboformcould use those. Slick.

Roboform has a number of great features including the ability tosynchronize Roboform Identities, Passcards, and Safenotes between yourmobile device and your PC. Like the version for computers, the mobileversion also comes with a password generator. This is great for creatingsecure password from your mobile device and saving them right there. The program remembers all of your logon names and passwords and it canlog you on to sites without a lot of hassle. It's handy on a PC, butit's indispensible on a mobile device. This is one program for thePocket PC that I won't be without. I like it so much that it's not onlya Pick, it's also a Dr. File Finder Favorite and those are few and far between. Check out the mobile versionof Roboform for yourself. It'll be one of your favorites too!

If you have software you use on your "smartphone" or PDA, come and talkabout it with us in the Forums. We look forward to seeing you there.
