Greetings and Welcome! I hope all ofyour are having good weather and enjoying yourselves. It's the firstweek in June and we've been having great weather. It's very green herein Colorado which is unusual. The annual Software Industry Conference will be here in just over a month and I've been really busy. Neverto busy to look at software, however, so I have some Picks to tell youabout. I hope you'll enjoy them. So, if you're all set just sit back, relax, and lets take a look

Wondershare PowerPoint to DVD, by Wondershare PowerPoint to DVDis a slick program that makes it easy to share your PowerPoint projects.Sure, it's easy to share them if the person you want to share with has PowerPoint, but what if they don't? Wondershare PowerPoint to DVDlets you put your presentations on DVD. In testing it here it worked perfectly. The program lets you burn your presentation right to a disc which can then be played in a DVD player. Really slick!

Wondershare PowerPoint to 2DVD is intuitive and easy-to-use, perfect forboth new and experienced users. I like the fact that it not only letsyou put your presentations on DVD, but it also lets you enhancethem. You can add a sound track to enhance your presentation. Think about it, movies have soundtracks and now so can your presentation. You can also add voice if you like so you can give your presentations that human touch. So, if you'd like to share your Powerpoint presentations and do it easily this is a product you need to try. I recommend it.

TracePlus Web Detective (Standard Edition), by SST Incorporatedis a cool program that provides you with a lot of information about your Web pages. It's perfect for anyone who's engaged in development on the Web. The program can give you valuable data on performance of various Web protocols, like HTTP. By using a product like TracePlus WebDetective software developers can get a real-time "feel" forhow their product works. Slick.

TracePlus Web Detective is easy-to-use, but it's also geared moretoward programmer types. I was impressed with the level of informationthe program provides. So, if you're designing an application or utilitythat's designed for use on the Web, you need to take a good look atTracePlus Web Detective. A perfect way to find out just how wellyour product is performing. Check it out!

DiskShop, by DigitSoftis a cool tool you can use to manage all your files and folders. It even works with Vista and it works quite well. You can use the program to access files, view photo, movies, and so on. You can manipulate file attributes, clean your disk, and look at files on your LAN. The program is nicely done and very easy-to-use. Perfect for both new and experienced users.

In working with DiskShop I found that it made it quick and easy to do things with file whether they were on my machine or on a network drive. The program has a slick search function that helps you to findwhat you're looking for. This program is just loaded with features likea "tree view", keyboard shortcuts, favorites, and much more. Over theyears I've looked at a lot of "file management" programs and thisis one of the nicer ones I've seen. Take a look for yourself and seewhat I mean. I recommend it.

Feed Editor, by ExtraLabs Softwareis a nice product for doing your own RSS feeds. I reviewed it oncebefore, but I wanted to come back to it. It makes it easy to create andpublish "news feeds" on the Internet. I like the fact that ituses wizards to help you create an RSS feed that you createand publish in just minutes. This is really the complete packagebecause it also includes an FTP interface so you can easily upload yourfinished news feeds. Slick.

I really like the fact that Feed Editor is easy-to-use, becauseit makes it easy for anyone to have a blog. The program is reallyperfect for users with all levels of experience, but newer user will find it very friendly. You can import text from files, include photos or pictures, and there's also support for JavaScript. The program also has a nice WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor so you'll know exactly what your feed will look like. I like Feed Editor so much that it's not only one of my Picks, but I'm also making it one of myDr. File Finder Favorites. So, if you want to try your hand at doing an RSS feed, try Feed Editor. I recommend it.

Feed Editor is the 235,000th program I've evaluated since 1982.

Engage 1.1.0.73 is a slick program that helps you organize your Windows Start menu. I know for a lot of people the Start menu is a real problem which is what drew me to look at this product. The program can organize all the things in your Start menu including programs and documents. It can even do it automatically. I want to spend some more time testing it out, but don't wait for me. Check it out for yourself and I'll get to my full review as soon as I can.

Well, that brings us to the end of my Picks for today. I hope you enjoyed reading about these products because I know I enjoyed writing about them.
