Centico Photo Album, by Centico Ltd.is another program for working with photos that has some uniquefeatures. The one that I thought was very cool is called theShoebox. Makes perfect sense if you think about it. Say you have300 pictures you took while on a vacation. You want to create an album, but you don't want it to have all 300 pictures. Plus, some of thepictures aren't as good or they're duplicates. So, you put the photosyou really want in the album and the rest of the pictures can goin the Shoebox, which is attached. Very clever idea.

Centico Photo Album has a nice, clean, intuitive user interface. It's also amazingly easy-to-use. Here again the program has a full rangeof tools you can use to perk up or fix your photos. Remove "red eye",crop, rotate, adjust colors, brightness, and more. This is an excellentprogram for anyone who is really into creating albums of theirphotos. Hey, you can even have the program put your albums in HTMLformat so you can display your albums on the Web. Very nicely done.

Zoner Photo Studio, by ZONER softwareis another powerful program for working with photos. The program isfull-featured and it seems they've thought of everything. First of allit has support for a full range of digital cameras. You can even scanphotos right into the program. Additionally, it has a really completeset of tools for enhancing your photos. I like the interface and theprogram is easy-to-use as well. You can add descriptions, but you canalso add audio if you like. That's right, you can put in "audio notes"so you can remember little things about your pictures.

Once again we've come to the end of our time for today. I hope youenjoyed this roundup of photo and image programs. While many tend tohave some similar features each also has some unique ones. In workingwith all of them you'd have to pick the one that has the featuresyou like best. Slideshows, GPS, shoeboxes, the choice is yours.I'll be back next week with more software to tell you about. I hopeyou'll join me. Till then, have a great week, a wonderful weekend, andhappy downloading.
