WordPipe, by DataMystic as you may guess, is another sister product in the "pipe" family of products. Since so many of you asked about solutions for Word and PowerPoint I decided to review them. Now, this is one that I didn't have to borrow files for to test. I have lots of Word documents. WordPipe is really fast and efficient. I went in and did search and replaces in several thousand of my documents, and then went in and changed them back. This was slick!

The cool thing is that you can alter or edit multiple items in your documents. So, in one batch I changed all the dates and all the names and all the phone numbers. Then WordPipe did the job in record time changing those items in every document I wanted changed. Very cool. This one can also work across a network so businesses can use it to change documents all across their server. In one test I even had it alter my invoices to next months date and name. I just told WordPipe what to look for, what to replace it with, where to find it, and what documents to look at and bam! It was done.

WordPipe really impressed me, perhaps because I work with more Word documents than I do PowerPoint or Excel. The interface is first rate and the program is really easy-to-use. Both novice and experienced users can handle it easily. This is one program that I may end up buying. I like it so much that it's not only a Pick, but I'm also making it a Dr. File Finder Favorite and in 25 years of evaluating software there haven't been many of those. Take a look for yourself. If you work with Word documents, and need to edit lots of them this is your solution!
