Radmin Remote Control, by Famatech International Corp. is a perfect solution for anyone who wants to access a computer from a remote location. In testing it out I found it to be very easy-to-use with an intuitive user interface. I'd say that this product is perfect for both new and experienced users. You don't need to be a network administrator to figure it out. In working with it I accessed my main computer from a laptop in the same room and also from a computer when I was 1,000 miles away. It worked great! From a security standpoint Radmin Remote Control is very secure. It utilizes 256-bit AES encryption when you connect so your data is safe and secure. When you're connected to the remote computer you can work at it in a window or make it full-screen. Radmin Remote Control also makes it very easy to transfer files from the machine you're logged into to the machine you're on. Another cool feature is the ability to actually chat with someone who is at the location you're connected to. You can use text chat or even voice chat. Slick.

Over the years I've tested quite a few systems for accessing a computer remotely and Radmin Remote Control is one of the best I've worked with. It's fast and doesn't need a lot of horsepower to work. Free Password Manager Plus, by Billeo,Inc. is a really cool product for dealing with passwords, bill payments, and shopping. I found it while looking for a "password manager" for a friend. As you'll note in the program name, this product is free which to some people make it ever better. It works a bit differently than similar products and I have to say that in testing it out I'm liking it more and more. First you download the program and it installs a toolbar in your browser, which for me is Firefox. You are guided to create an account with Billeo which only takes a minute. From here you're able to monitor and manage all of the functions that Free Password Manager Plus provides you with. Now, here's a little twist. All of the information you store is stored on your PC, but it's only accessible when you're logged in to your Billeo account. What's cool about that? Well, as long as you keep your login to Billeo secret and log out when you're done surfing, no one else has access to your information. That's not true with many other password systems. Something to think about.

Free Password Manager Plus does an excellent job logging you into Web sites, but it does so much more. In the "Shopping" section you can put in information for filling in forms online. What I really like about this implementation is that you an create multiple identities, multiple bank account entries, and multiple credit card entries. What makes this nice is that you can put in your contact information on a site, but use the payment method you want to use on that site. That way you aren't stuck always having to use the same credit card information. If all this weren't enough, there's still more. Ever buy something online and when they show you the receipt you realize that the computer doesn't have a printer or that you're out of ink? No sweat. Free Password Manager Plus lets you save the actual Web page so you can keep all your receipts.

Lastly, Free Password Manager Plus also helps you if you utilize online bill pay services. It can remind you of when a payment is due, let you view payments you've made, and even create reports. Slick! I have to say I'm really impressed and that I may be using this product all the time. I like it so much that it's not only a Pick, but I'm also making it a Dr. File Finder Favorite and in 25 years of evaluating software there haven't been many of those. So, check it out for yourself. Impressive.

Trellian Webpage, by Trellian Pty. Ltd. is a cool program that makes it easy for anyone to create a Web page. You don't have to know anything about HTML or programming and you can get impressive results. The program is very easy-to-use and perfect for users with all levels of experience. It utilizes a WYSIWYG (wizzy-wig) interface so "what you see is what you get". I like this approach because it make it simple to create a Web page based on how you want it to look without having to know the coding to get you there.

In testing it out I imported some of my own Web pages and then edited them. The program supports drag and drop so you can literally just drop an image, for example, and it ends up on your Web page. You can preview your work, edit meta tags, check spelling, and lots more right within the program. Trellian Webpage gives you all the tools you need to create Web pages from scratch or to edit existing pages. If you want to make a Web site and don't want to worry about the HTML coding, this could be your solution. Try it!
