If you'd really like to work with Microsoft Office documents on your BlackBerry device you'll want to grab a copy of eOffice by Dynoplex, Inc. This cool program makes it easy to create and edit both Word and Excel documents right on your BlackBerry. In testing it out I put both kinds of documents on my BlackBerry 8830 and then worked with them. What astounded me was that the program actually had support for Office 2007. Slick. When editing you have complete control so you can change the font, make it bold or underlined, and lots more. This is not a watered-down solution. eOffice also offers a viewer that lets you look at a nice range of file types including DOC, XLS, PDF, JPG, and even PowerPoint presentations. The program not only lets you view these files, but you can even enlarge them by zooming in. eOffice also comes with a spell checking feature that you can add to. Another really cool feature is the ability to access the files on your computer right from your BlackBerry. On top of that you also get an area online where you can keep files. When you purchase eOffice you get an account and get unlimited storage space. So, you can upload the files that are most important to you and when you need them, just download them to your BlackBerry. All of this would be plenty, buy there's still more. eOffice allows you to fax to any location so you can send documents right from your phone. How cool is that? You can also access printers from eOffice either locally or via Bluetooth. So, the program gives you complete functionality for working with documents on your BlackBerry device. To me it's interesting to note that there's no extra charge for the online storage and faxing. Also no yearly or monthly fees. You simply pay for the program and those are part of the included features. I like eOffice so much that it's not only a Pick, but I'm also making it a Dr. File Finder Favorite. Try it out for yourself, I recommend it!
