Over the years I've always liked to use screen captures that describe
something I'm doing in the program. To me that helps tie the review and
the screen capture together. It also lets you "see" what I'm talking
about. That's easy-to-do with desktop software, but not so easy when
talking about portable devices. Until now.
Mobiola Screen Capture is a cool piece of software that gives
you the ability to get screen shots off your BlackBerry or Symbian
device. You install the software on your PC and then, when you connect
your mobile device, the device screen shows up in Mobiola Screen
Capture. From there you can save a screen shot to your computer. Or, if
you want, you can also record a movie of all the activity that's
happening on your mobile device. That's a great way to demonstrate
something to someone else. Mobiola Screen Capture is very easy-
to-use and gives you some configurable options. The program will
automatically name each screen shot or video, but you can tell it a
prefix that you'd like attached to each screen shot. You can also
indicate where you'd like your screen shots and videos to go on
your hard drive. You can also save captures to the Windows clipboard if
you wish. In addition, you can zoom out, zoom in, and go full screen.
The program is intuitive and very easy-to-use, perfect for users with
all levels of experience. I like Mobiola Screen Capture so much
that it's not only a Pick, but I'm also making it a Dr. File Finder
Favorite and in over 25 years of reviewing software there aren't
very many of those. So, if you'd like a way to capture images or movies
off your BlackBerry device, this is the program you need. I
recommend it.
