SecuWipe for Pocket PC is a powerful tool for completely removing all the data from your Windows Mobile device. If you stop and think about it most people are keeping more and more information on their mobile devices. We all have contacts, but many of us also have documents, notes, photos, browsing history, and lots more. The beauty of SecuWipe is that it completely wipes all that data off your Pocket PC device so it can not be recovered by anyone. I tested SecuWipe on a Pocket PC device I use for testing purposes. The program is both intuitive and easy-to-use, perfect for users with all levels of experience. Once I set the program into action it made quick work of all the data stored on the phone. This included wiping all of my contacts, calendar events, tasks, and all of the files associated with browsing the Internet. SecuWipe quickly removed all of the files and folders from the device and on the SD (secure digital) card in the phone. I was impressed with how quick and thorough the program was. In addition to wiping the existing data SecuWipe also wipes all the free space on your device. Why is that important? Well, because space that may be free now may have once held some of your personal information. By wiping all the free space SecuWipe makes sure that no data, past or present, can be recovered from your device. I like SecuWipe so much that it's not only a Pick, but I'm also making it a Dr. File Finder Favorite and in 26 years of reviewing software there haven't been many of those. So, if you want to be sure that you don't leave information on your Pocket PC/Windows Mobile device give SecuWipe a try. I think you'll like it.
