A: Our experience production staff at butterscotch.com produces the video for you. Our producers and hosts have years of experience making mainstream TV at major television outlets including G4TechTV.

Q: What do I have to do after I order a Video Cow Review?
A: You will be contacted by one of our producers within 5 business days to start the video production process. To help us make the video for you, we will need from you a hi-rez image or logo or box shot of your software product, a license key so we can install a full version, and a first draft script that runs 100-120 words. We also require a URL that will be displayed in the video. We will provide easy to follow guidelines and assistance to help with scripting.

Q; Why do I have to write a script?
A: Since you know your product best, it's in your interest to create the basic script for what you want to say and see in the video. Writing the script is not hard and we will provide professional script editing once you give us a sense of what you want to say in your first draft. Be sure to ask for our script tips and tricks and guidelines document.

Q; What if I want you to write the first draft script?
A: For those developers that want us to write the first draft script, we will provide an easy to follow questionnaire that you have to fill out so we can create the first draft for you. This service costs $150.

Q: How long does it take to produce the video?
A: The video will be delivered to you within 30 days of script approval by you once we have sent you an edited draft that you are happy with.

Q: What format is it delivered to me?
A: We will deliver the finished video in high definition MOV format.

Q: What if I want to video in a different format?

Q: Where can I use the video?
A: You are free to post it anywhere you like on the web or use it in any fashion provided you do not edit it or cut it in any way. You are permitted to render it yourself into a different video file format.

Q: Can you help me distribute the video?
A: Yes included in your video pricing is several distribution servuices. We post your video to your Tucows.com download page and to the Tucows TV section of butterscotch.com for one year (this will be renewable annually for a nominal fee). And we post the video to the follow five video syndication partners: YouTube, Blip.tv, Howcast, Metacafe, and DailyMotion.

A: Log into your Tucows ARC account at http://author.tucows.com and click Add software or Update software and choose Expedite with a Video Cow Review.

Q: My software title has a 5 out of 5 cow rating do I pay the full $899?
A: No, because you product has the maximum cow rating you are eligible for the $699 pricing.

Q: My software title has receive a cow rating of 4 out of 5 cows rating do I pay $899 or do I get a discount?
A: It's up to you. We can do a Video Cow Rating that promotes the 4 out of 5 cow rating, an excellent score. If so pay the $699 price. Or you pay $899 which includes a re-review (normally $250) as part of that price. This is recommended if you have updated and improved the software since the last cow rating was performed.

Q: My software title has receive a cow rating of 3 out of 5 cows rating do I pay $899 or do I get a discount?
A: If yuou have updated your softare recently we recommend you choose the $899 which includes a re-review (normally $250) as part of that price. This is highly recommended if you have updated and improved the software since the last cow rating was performed as you may get a better rating for your video.

Q: Do I have to have a software title posted on Tucows.com?
A: Yes, to qualify for a video cow review your software title must be listed on Tucows.com.
