It's that holiday time of year when people are giving gifts and celebrating the end of one year and the beginning of a new one. Many people will get computers during this holiday season. Some will be getting their first computer while others will simply be getting a new one.

Computers are a wonderful tool. In conjunction with software they can be used to keep in touch with family and friends, play games, stay organized, print labels, write letters and so much more. Sadly, many people take their computer for granted. They forget about all the data and information that's on their computer. They don't backup their important files or if they do it's only rarely. The files on your computer represent precious time, effort, energy, memories and much more. What makes it sad is that computers crash. Computers die. Either from age, power surges, hard disk failure, infection by viruses, Trojan horses, malware, or any number of other causes, your computer can quite suddenly quit on you. And chances are, your important data is still on it.

Taking Precautions

We all do things every day to prevent problems and protect ourselves. We wear seat belts when we drive in case of a car accident. We have insurance for the same reason. We keep our money in banks, our valuables in safety deposit boxes. We should do the same to protect all the things that are on our computers. When you have a system dying, sinking before your eyes, will you have a lifeboat? You should!

The Complete Solution - Your Lifeboat!

Lifeboat, by Tugboat Enterprises, Ltd., is a product that will help you to recover all of your data from a failing computer. And the real beauty of it is that anyone can use it. You don't have to be a wizard with computers. The program creates a bootable CD that will then guide you in getting your data onto another computer in your network. The program is easy-to-use and intuitive. You don't have to remove the hard disk or be a network administrator. Just insert the Lifeboat CD, and in as little as 3 mouse-clicks you can be recovering your precious data.

I learned about Lifeboat when my computer became infected with what is called a rootkit. The first time any computer of mine had been infected with anything in over 25 years. Yes,I keep very good backups, but as it happened my backup drives had been offline for 2 days. I wasn't sure what to do. There were some new documents that I had to get off of the computer before I reformatted the hard drive. I searched on the Internet and the only solution I found was Lifeboat. I downloaded it, created the Lifeboat CD, booted to the CD, and within a very short time I'd saved all the files I needed. Lifeboat saved me hours of work.

The Lifeboat Data Rescue System is brilliantly simple. Just have your network connected and a blank CD. The downloaded product contains an executable that will burn the Lifeboat product to the CD. You don't have to have any other software to create the CD. Then boot to the CD. The program makes it so very simple that anyone can do it. I now have my Lifeboat CD right here on my desk where I keep all of my important programs. Remember:

Lifeboat can save your files even if the operating system has failed!

I haven't seen another program that can make that claim. The program also comes with a very comprehensive manual that can answer any questions you might have about the program. Lifeboat uses the bare minimum of system resources and it can even recover data when components like your video card are failing.

Summing It Up!

Lifeboat, by Tboat Enterprises, Ltd., is in my opinion a program that should be included with every computer. You get disks to help you reinstall Windows, disks to reinstall the programs that came with the computer, why not a program that can save what's most important? Your data!

With so many risk factors out there today it only makes sense to have a "lifeboat" standing by that can save you. And save you immediately. If you don't backup your computer it's imperative. If you do backup your computer it's still essential. Why? Because you never know what will trigger the crash. I hadn't had a computer infection of any kind in over 25 years and yet the computer that got infected with a rootkit was only 3 months old. Even with good backups there were still files that I had to get off of that machine. Without Lifeboat I'd have lost those valuable files. Fortunately, I found Lifeboat and it's become what I consider to be a true must have application!

If you don't buy the program now, at least bookmark this page in case you need Lifeboat in the future. Or download it and test out the trial. So many of us always think that the bad things happen to other people, but that isn't true. The builders of the Titanic said it was unsinkable and didn't install enough lifeboats. They were wrong and it cost the passengers everything.

If you have a crash, make sure you have a LifeBoat!

Note: In 2007, LIfeboat became Selkie Rescue and it's even better than before. Try it!--- Editor
