Spb Backup, by Spb SoftwareHouse is a cool tool to backup the data on your "smartphone" orPDA. I know I preach a lot about backing up the data on your PC and Ifeel the same way about the 'smartphone'. In fact, Spb Backup wasthe first program I purchased for my new Verizon XV6700 smartphone.
Spb Backup lets you backup the entire contents of your device oryou can just backup selected data. The one thing I really like about itis that it creates sell-extracting EXE files that it places on mystorage card. That makes it a snap for me to restore data. Some similarproducts use a proprietary backup format which to me really complicatesthe restore process. With an EXE file I can just click on it and itstarts to unpack. Slick!
Spb Backup also lets you do scheduled backups so your data isalways up-to-date. In addition, the program displays the last time yourdata was backed up on the "Today" screen. If you wish you can utilize file compression as well as encryption in your backups. Nice.
Spb Backup, by Spb Software House, is a neat utility for yourPocket PC/Windows Mobile smartphone or PDA. I've found the program to bevery reliable and easy-to-use. And I think you will too. So, protect allthe data on your mobile device and back it up with Spb Backup!
If you have software you use on your "smartphone" or PDA, come and talkabout it with us in the Forums. We look forward to seeing you there.
