Spb Pocket Plus, by Spb Software House is acool program for your Pocket PC or smartphone. The program makes the"Today" screen a truly useful and flexible tool. To begin with itgives you tabs so you can launch programs and do other thingswithout having your Today screen crammed full of icons. I found thetabbed interface to be easy-to-use and also easy to configure. I had onetab just for programs, another one just for connectivity options, onefor system function, and so on. The tabs is Spb Pocket Plus make it easy to optimize the useof your mobile device. If I wanted to connect to the Internet or myoffice network I would pick one tab. If I wanted to open a word documentor play a game of blackjack, I'd tap another tab. Very Slick. Theprogram is loaded with configurable options that let you have it work, and look, just the way you want.

Spb Pocket Plus has "context menus" just like a Windows programAll you have to do is hold the stylus down on a tab and the menu comesup. From here you can arrange items, remove items, decide to use largeor small icons, and more. A feature I liked was the ability tolock the items so they wouldn't move around on me. The programalso supports plug-ins which perform a wide range of functions. The plug-ins are called "tab plug-ins" by the company because the insert their function into a tab. And there are a nice selection of plug-ins, including onesfor Weather, Contacts, Tasks, Calendar, Finance, Notes, and more. So,for example, if you use the Weather plug-in, it becomes tab of it's own. This makes it easy for you to have your own customized tabs plustabs that are clearly defined by function, like Notes or Weather. Slick.Another feature I really liked about Spb Pocket Plus is thatfact that you can totally customize the way it looks utilizing "ExtendedPocket PC Themes." The reason they're called "extended" is because theyallow you to do more customization than a regular Pocket PC theme. So,using an extended theme you can pick the background from one theme, butuse the function indicators of another theme. That gives you completecontrol over the look of your device. It also means you don'thave to settle for something you don't like the looks of.

Spb Pocket Plus is a really full-featured program for your PocketPC and/or "smartphone". It gives you real flexibility and makesit much easier to use your device. So, if you'd like to get your deviceorganized and looking good, check out Spb Pocket Plus. Irecommend it.

If you have software you use on your "smartphone" or PDA, come and talkabout it with us in the Forums. We look forward to seeing you there.
