FreeFixer is a removal tool which will assist you when deleting potentially unwanted software, such as trojans, spyware, adware, rootkits and viruses.
FreeFixer works by scanning locations where unwanted software has a known record of appearing or leaving traces. The scan locations include your home page settings, the programs that run on your computer, the programs that starts when you reboot your machine, your browser plug-ins, etc. FreeFixer does not know which the unwanted files and settings are, so the scan result will contain many items you want to keep and perhaps some that you prefer to delete. It is up to you to decide, please be careful! If you delete a legitimate file you may damage your machine. To help you when determining if anything should be deleted you can find information at FreeFixer's web site for the items in the scan result.
