Excellent software. I use it for polishing old recordings dating back to the 50's and earlier. The parametric EQ is superb, working live, i.e. on the fly; first I've seen. Also, ability to edit sections within a file rather that having to copy to another file, edit and paste back into the original. I've been using this for only a few days now but from what I've seen, it's nothing less than incredible and moreso when one considers the price. I'm somewhat of an audiophile though not fanatical, having several reel to reel machines, including 2 half track Revox A77's running at 7.5 & 15 ips. These I've restored including replacing both heads in both units.
I've looked and looked for such a piece of software, mainly for the parametric and this one fills the bill. Others I've seen have a parametric but it doesn't work on the fly, live. Prior to finding this software, I seriously considered running the computer through one of my parametrics then to one of the A77's or into another puter but that had disadvantages; too complicated. I knew there had to be an easier way and this software is IT.
