Netscape Navigator 4.0 and later and Internet Explorer 4.0 and later display animated backgrounds. New in version 2.0: You can define an additional distortion of a warped surface using another warped surface. New possibilities for generating image sequences of a warping in a cyclical movement, now saved in the BackgroundWarper 2 format file. Two-way compatibility with version 1.x files is maintained.
New in v. 2.1: You can animate the warping and the distortion simultaneously.

In the unregistered version you can copy the created tiles; in the light ($12) version you can save them in native format; and in the full version ($30) version you can save animated tile sequences as the background of the page. More warpers are available in the full version. One negative aspect of BackgroundWarper involves an annoying registration reminder that keeps popping up when you try to open samples.
