HypnOptic screen saver is an application rather than a control panel-type screen saver.

That means it uses up less of that precious system memory. Plus, it is easier to use. All you have to do is click on the icon, and you have a screen saver running on your monitor.
As the name suggests, this particular screen saver has a rather hypnotic effect on the viewer. It changes colors and shapes that quickly expand and contract. This may not be everyone's favorite vision, but HypnOptic does its job and is easy to use.
