PhotoCat 3.4.1
PhotoCat is a great tool for working quickly and efficiently with a large database of pictures.

It's also the ideal tool to put one's holiday pictures in order.
PhotoCat allows you to: Quickly Catalog whole disks, using flexible filter options; easily Index records thanks to powerful automatic mechanisms; directly manage the original image files from within PhotoCat; widely distribute slide shows and catalogs using PhotoCat Player, which is included in the folder; automatically build Web sites or FileMaker databases from catalogs.
New in version 3.3:
- Corrects a problem with grayscale TIFF and JPEG images
- The "Export as a Web site" feature has been entirely reworked
- The e-business option has been enhanced
- The PhotoCat Web site offers a professional order form now
The new order format means that the user is able to modify the order form (the quantity of each product) and then send it or print it (to send it by fax or by mail). The form is submitted and sent by the browser allowing a larger compatibility (AOL users and others). The form is computed so that it is easy to parse and automate mass mailing. Moreover, the distributor can specify shipping and taxes options on PhotoCat so that the client can choose a shipping mode and the applicable tax option. The tax option is very flexible in order to be suitable to different states. An additional new feature allows PhotoCat to export images to a FileMaker Pro database and either embed it or reference it. If the distributor would like to use 24 or 32-bit depth images over the Internet, then he'll have to reference it because embedded JPEG images don't work well using FileMaker Pro.
