Prowler 2.3
Prowler is an image browser and viewer that lets you turn your favorite images into a slideshow.
It uses a full screen, so images that fill your screen can be used as a sort of screen saver while you're away from your computer. You can also use this program for presentations to groups.
You can choose how often the images change from one to the next, and you can also pick soft shadows, cross fades and live scrolling.
As soon as you click on Prowlers' icon, your screen fills with the program. Point your cursor to the top of your screen, and a menu is revealed. Use the menu options to browse folders for images and to select how you want the images presented. It's a great little program for enjoying all those pictures that you have stored on your Mac.
Prowler supports all file image formats supported by the currently installed version of QuickTime. These include PICTs, JPEGs, GIFs and many others. Prowler likes as much RAM as possible; the bigger your image archive, the more RAM Prowler needs. A G3 processor is recommended for Prowler to run at it's best.
