N2MP3 Pro 2.0.2
Targeted at iBook-toting students and G3-addicted audiophiles, N2MP3 gives novice and technical users alike a tool for bringing digital audio to their desktop.

It simplifies encoding so that the novice iMac user can enjoy the benefits of MP3, yet provides high-end, hi-fi quality for the veteran MP3 fan.
The newer version is necessary for Mac users who are currently using MacOS 9, or who intend to upgrade. It contains fixes relevant to OS 8 users also, but these are not critical.
The improved interface for enhanced CD encoding is relevant for all users.
For more detailed information, including on updates, please read the documentation or visit the home page.
N2MP3 will run on any PowerPC-based Macintosh, System 7.6 or better. Best results are obtained on the latest G4 Macs (a version which supports the new G4 "velocity engine" is under development). An update for MacOS 9 and MacOS X are in progress.
