A floating bar-like window starts out at the bottom of your screen with icons for all the applications you are currently running. This floating bar may be shifted around the edges of your computer, or minimized to get it out of your way. A-Dock makes it easy to see what programs you are running and makes it easy to access them switch between them. A-Dock also displays a trash can icon that behaves exactely like the Finder's.

You may add your favorite applications by dragging them onto the dock, and then reorder them in real-time by using drag-and-drop.

A-Dock is also skinnable and features 5 standard skins. More skins may be added, and you can even create your own!

You can also quit/hide applications easily with contextual menus.

For more detailed information, including on later updates, please read the documentation or visit the home page.

Note

A-Dock runs on Mac OS 8.5, 8.6 and 9.
