It can find files in compressed archives. It can manage files on backup tapes, disks made with Retrospect, removable media and remote networked volumes.

After scanning your storage devices for files and building a list, this lets you perform various operations. It presents files, folders and volumes in different formats for association by location or characteristics.

The update process tracks which files have been changed since your last update or since the list was created, indicating files that are new, renamed, modified, deleted or moved.
