Protector 1.0
Every gamer has their classic arcade games.

You know, the ones that brought them to their knees with the frustration of being just a notch below the perfect score. Whether it was Asteroids, Tempest, Space Invaders or Centipede, it still had the flavor.
Protector takes notes from those golden oldies by using the same type of gameplay and, unfortunely, the same type of graphics. While the sound is definitely enhanced, the music is non-existent. The reason for a music option in the menu is still baffling to me.
So, in the end, if you're looking for your fix of old school gameplay with a slight alteration, Protector is the one. However, if you want that same solid gameplay in a shiny new package, look elsewhere.
