PowerDVD version 12 Ultra is here, and it brings with it increased 3D support and improved playback controls. At the same time, it changes its game a bit by offering tools for organizing and managing all of your media across devices. Now you can use your desktop PC as a server for all of your content, and with PowerDVD Mobile, you can browse and play that content from anywhere.

I was wondering why I don't have version powerdvd 9.0 ultra. I bought version 8.0 at full price 1 week before 9.0 came out. There was no warning on sight that a new version was pending. I have made several inquiries to cyberlink how they could allow this to happen? But, it seems its all about the money. Do yourself a favour and buy windvd instead. ;(

As above. No support except for a generated reply to a basic installation problem. On first run you are prompted for your key and the applet then attempts to connect to Cyberlink server for authentication. Well, the applet wouldn't talk to my IP stack so I can't use the software. I looked on their forum and this seems to be a common problem without a fix. Unable to get support so having to take advantage of their 30day money back guarantee. A shame as I really liked powerDVD and I haven't found another product that will give you the option to send the audio down the HDMI cable yet.

If you buy this product thinking you'll get some decent support you'll be extremely disappointed. what you'll get is no email address to send your questions to but an online form which a generated response will be sent to you. No one will help you. I now have a blue ray player that can play about 50% of BD's i rent.
Good product. Terrible Support.
