Arcade Minesweeper 1.0
If you're not going to add new gameplay elements to a classic like minesweeper, you should do a couple of things to enhance the experience.

Creating a shiny new interface is always helpful since it separates the old from the new. Changing the mines isn't nessesary, but the simple square board could use some love.
The inclusion of a story-based option is certainly welcome, giving purpose to the task of searching for mines. If you are disarming mines in Israel, you will be presented with a Star of David map while others are houses and the like.
In the end, Arcade Minesweeper is a nice recreation, offering bright, crisp graphics and a slight twist on a classic formula.
