This is a utility for launching applications and for opening files and folders.
When you start typing, a list will show all files with names containing the text you've written. You can define what kind of files you would like to see in the list.
The default configuration is for opening applications and control panels, but you can also add folders and special files such as Word documents or Acrobat files. You launch an application or open a file by hitting the return or enter key, or by double-clicking it in the list.
