Scan CD-Rs and then catalog and save the file properties including name, directory, attributes, size and date, and the disc properties including serial number, file system, volume label, number of files and user chosen description onto a database.

The user can then run a search for a particular file in the database rather than browse manually through all of the CD-Rs. Will also work with other storage media such as floppies and ZIP disks.
