Zombie Smashers X 1.071

filesize: 4.95 MB

Just when I thought the week was getting a little stale, this game comes along and totally makes everything bright.

In the same bloodline as Double Dragon, River City Ransom or Streets of Rage, Zombie Smashers X is a side-scrolling beat-'em-up with more blood and violence than you can shake a bloody stump at. Keep in mind, the blood is heavily over-exaggerated, so it's not realism -- just humor.

In order to add depth to the game, each of the baddies (and their subsequent boss monsters) will drop units of cash that can be used in the various stores for items like food, art or tattoos -- all of which can help you by upping your stats or giving you information.

Rarely does a shareware game come along that has half the office around me with "ooohs" and "aaahs." And if you were wondering there is a two-player mode to bring this game's value even further up the chart, there is. If you're hoping to be blown away by next-generation technologies, this game won't do it. But if you are looking for a damn fun (and bloody) game, Zombie Smashers X is all you need.

Note

This game contains copious amounts of blood and violence and a bit of adult language. Please take this under advisement when making the decision to download or not.
