By lowering down a crane, you can pick up treasure that is scattered across the bottom of the ocean. If you get too close to the sealife, your hook will break, and you will lose a life.
This version of the has game much better graphics and sound, balancing on the edge of 2D and 3D sprites. Each one is animated well and the bubble effects are a nice touch for submersion of your equipment.
Abyss is a nicely done arcade remake, and many classic gamers will surely be grateful. The full version offers about 100 levels.
