I had a chance to play this over the weekend.
By this weekend, I mean the entire weekend. I started playing mid-Saturday around 3 p.m., looked up for half a second and noticed it was 1 a.m. The addiction continued into Sunday where I eventually just slapped myself to get away from the computer. If you haven't tried this TBS out, it's worth a look. Just watch out for Rome.

This gives players the chance to rewrite history as one of 12 European powers through a mixture of epic battles, trade, diplomacy, and resource management. It features a 3D engine, supports real-time 3D battles of more than 10,000 troops and more than 100 unique unit types, including knights, infantry and siege engines. You'll do battle in terrain as varied as deserts, forest, plains and mountains.
Use authentic battle strategies and tactics as you unleash forces against medieval castles and mighty fortresses with an arsenal of battlefield weapons including long-bows, muskets, cannons and catapults.
