It was a treasure on day one and the creator (Erwin Denissen) actually pays attention to his user comments and converts their suggestions into even better reality than they expect so the program gets better on almost a daily basis.
It provides multiple methods for creating and editing fonts.
1. Use Insert Contour to draw each glyph from scratch right in the edit windows.
2. Hand draw your font idea, scan it in, copy to clipboard, then paste it into your new font.
3. Use Glyph Transformer to convert your new font to any size, change width or height, make bold, Italic, bold-Italic, hollow, whatever.
4. Build your own "Samples Toolkit" and make that your sample font on the left side of the edit window to drag in and add to your new font using "Get Union" to change your font from sans serif to ANY serif font face you wish.
Have you Downloaded a font with errors in it? FontCreator has the tools to validate and repair the font!
With FontCreator, you are limited only by your imagination!
