The recipient needs nothing but the password to open the encrypted file, they do not need to download or install any software. It has 128 bit, open source encryption which was chosen as the standard to be used by the US government. Messages can be set so that they can only be decrypted within a certain period. This means that you do not need to worry about sensitive information being opened by someone at a later time. An administrator can assign and lock passwords to be used by each employee. This allows companies to control the use of encrypted e-mails by their employees and ensures that the company can open all encrypted e-mails sent. Company logos or other graphics can be added to the window the recipient receives when they open an encrypted mail. An administrator has the option to set e-mail so that only encrypted e-mails can be sent.
