DINE Healthy 4.1.08
This program provides a food and activity look-up system with broad, filtered and user-defined food searches.
It contains an expandable database of 10,000 foods with generic, fast food and brand names. This includes USDA Release 15 and information from more than 300 food companies.
The software analyzes 77 nutrients and food components including amino acids, plant and animal proteins, added sugar, trans-fatty acids and MSG. You can sort foods by nutrient, to reveal which are highest and lowest in selected values. It also analyzes sports, leisure and recreational activities, calculating calories burned based on your personal profile.
Food choices can be evaluated using the DINE Scoring System or customized specifications. You can create a Favorites database, and the program helps you plan meals and diets. There is a recipe entry and analysis feature. You can enter ingredients, serving sizes, the number of servings and directions for preparation.
