The program doesn't require you to record every spending transaction. Instead, for each expense category, just enter your spending estimate for whatever time period is most natural. The program will then automatically scale this information into an annual budget.

You can model your income using the spin controls, adjusting parameters for income, interest, tax, and inflation rates, while simultaneously observing its interaction with your budget.

The final printout can be customized as a daily, weekly, monthly, or annual budget, showing as many expense subcategories as you choose.

You can import expense report files from Quicken and Microsoft Money, which you can use as the basis for your latest budget.
