Continued from above.....

program?s features best by just trying it out for 15 minutes. After deciding to purchase it, I wondered if the purchase and registration would be a problem with waiting for multiple e-mails with two types of registration codes that had to inserted in different boxes as I have experienced on similar programs ? but InerTrak was a one-click purchase and instantly the software was registered. Great program. It does exactly what its description says. Everyone?s tastes in time keeping is different, you may need either less or more functions, or you might not like the look and feel of this program, but regardless, you will be able to make those decisions for yourself instantly and very easily in a matter of minutes with InerTrak.

After my year-old $25 time logging program crashed today and would not reinstall, even with a newly purchased version, I tried several other programs and eventually downloaded InerTrak which is built around the concept of tracking minutes spent on projects for clients throughout the day and having a total by project by day for billing purposes. Tracking is accomplished by clicking either Start or Stop. InerTrak gives time spent in several ways including on a calendar which is helpful. I bill clients by time spent on each project each day in tenths of an hour and was able to quickly configure for those preferences. You can add rates too. InerTrak was easily configured to produce easy to read reports. I liked the ability to change the font. There must be many more tweeks that I have yet to find. I have tried several other programs, but this is the easiest, fastest, and most powerful $45 program I have found. This program also has export and invoice functions. The evaluation copy loaded quickly and I was immediately practicing with test clients and projects, I skimmed the Help section on reports, but was able to see the program?s features best by just trying it out for 15 minutes.
