It includes basic features such as a 3-band equalizer, automatic bpm detection, volume and pitch control, looping and using cue points. Also available are various effects such as an echo (with low and hi-pass cutoff filters), flanger, gapper, bitcrusher and filter. To add more effects, you can also use any VST plugin. You can mix and match 4 inputs and 4 outputs on any audio interface you have, with support for ASIO, DirectSound and WASAPI. Either use your external mixer, or use the internal mixer with limiter and one of the many supported midi controllers such as the Denon HC-4500, Vestax VCI-100, Hercules DJ Consoles or Pioneer CDJ-2000. You can even connect your turntables and use one of the supported TimeCoded vinyls to manipulate your music.

You can save your mixes as a mp3, wav, flac or ogg file so you can listen to them at a later time or even broadcast them live through shoutcast or icecast.

How djDecks looks can also be fully changed using the advanced skinning system. You can also download skins made by other users from the djDecks forum.

djDecks now also allows you to mix video and karaoke tracks.
