IMHO this program is the best value for money on Tucows. Very fast, detailed preview even in demo mode and very reliable PST-recovery. A well-deserved 5-cow rating!
In Detail:
I've tested all PST recover programs on Tucows up to $150. Cheaper software (there are some programs ranging from $40 to $90 on Tucows) either couldn't read any damaged PST file (what other purpose does a PST-recover software have?) or had less features or found less items than Recover My Email. More expensive programs didn't do more (some were even not as good).
Recover My Email does a scan within 1 or 2 minutes, giving the user an idea of what is left to recover in the PST, even in demo mode. The detailed preview includes calendar, contacts, e-mail texts and an overall summary. All folders are being preserved (some other programs place all recovered e-mails in a single folder).
If the user has a license he can then choose what shall be recovered, and normally this takes only a couple of minutes. On my (not so new) laptop a 500 kB PST-file was repaired in less than 5 minutes and a 1.7 GB PST-file was repaired in approx. 10 minutes.
