WebMotD 1
This program maintains a message of the day or any other text field up to 1024 characters anywhere on a local or remote Web site.

You can update the target Web page without having to use a Web design package or FTP. It does not require the Web host to use PHP, MySQL, CGI, PERL or ASP. WebMotD will work with any web server.
To use WebMotD, you simply mark the message field in a local copy of the target Web page to be updated with a special keyword. This is called the source file. You then set up the FTP settings and test the connection. Then you type a message of up to 1024 characters into the message box and click publish.
