ICON STUDIO 6 is a dump. It tries to do the right thing, but...
Cannot maintain a color palette across formats.
Crashes frequently.
Buggy tool selection
Frequent 'volunteer' pixels when switching tools or formats.
Color picker from 1989
Suggested retail $19.95 until they get it together.
Deselecting pasted selections buggy

I have never panned a software product before but Studio too darn frustrating.
Aliasing algorithm quite good within color spaces, but across formats be ready to repaint.
