Florencesoft DiffEngineX 2.28
Find the differences between the formulae, values, defined names, cell comments and Visual Basic (VBA) macros and code contained in either two whole Excel workbooks or selected worksheets with DiffEngineX.

The program generates a cell-by-cell difference report in a new worksheet and color highlights different cells in automatically made copies of your workbooks. As Excel spreadsheets get modified over time new rows and columns can be inserted between existing ones. The program can align both similar rows and columns in the sheets being compared.
The program can hide matching rows, group like changes to adjacent cells and highlight differences at the character level. It can be used from its user interface or using command-line arguments. It can also compare databases and comma separated value (CSV) files once they have been imported into Excel. Prior sorting may be required with rows of data.
DiffEngineX can be used as a plugin to version and source control collaboration systems. It has a powerful command line interface.
