I didn't find any virus but it did install adware that kept popping up browser windows. It was easy enough to remove using the add/remove software control panel but still shouldn't have installed in the first place. I uninstalled all of their software so I don't know if the player would have worked without the ad program.

This is one of those advertising programs that requires you to keep their "targeted" advertisements on your screen all of the time.
