It sits in the system tray monitoring a hidden file. To add a document to the print queue, simply click on the tray icon and drag the file onto the Print Queue Checker window.
A marker on the tray icon reminds you that you have files to print out. When you are next hooked up to a printer, simply click on the Print Queue Checker icon, and click on the "Print" button. All your files are sent to the printer, and the queue is cleared.
