Goombah is a free download application for music recommendations.
It analyzes each user's iTunes collection and listening behavior and finds their unique set of matching members in musical taste. Goombah then recommends music for each user that their unique matching members enjoy - both new tracks and old favorites. Goombah also suggests legal free music to download based on a user's taste profile.
Goombah (beta) already has more than 5million tracks in members' collections from which to draw recommendations.
Goombah users can also: (1)Browse matching members' and friends' collections,(2)Download free, quality MP3s based on their taste, and updated weekly for Goombah's Free Music Fridays, and (3) Create additional recommendations based on part of their library, genre, artist, or even how "adventurous" they want to be.
