I have been finding the BerBible software very useful in preparing online commentaries, especially since it includes both the ESV and NKJV, and also a first class Bible verse, word, and text search facility.

And I'm finding that I'm heading for Berean Bible (2.40) first! I may pick up something else second, because Berean Bible is intended to run on any computer, no matter how old, slow or small, for about any user who can find the power-on switch on their computer! In the interests of simplicity, Berean Bible leaves off "scholarly" capabilities like Strongs' numbering, commentaries, maps, etc.
Berean Bible (http://berbible.org) has versions for Windows, Pocket-PC/Mobile and Palm.
