  1. Simple and reliable note-taking - Our note editor gets to the point. It supports bulleted note taking with indentation and basic text controls. You can also use Textile or HTML to quickly markup your text. No Internet in class? No problem. Cornell note taking coming October 15th.
  2. Share your notes. Find notes - Studicious is a personal application and social network in one. By default, your profile and its contents are public. You can search everybody's notes by school, class, professor, and content.
  3. Connect to Facebook friends - Finding friends is easy, just click the Facebook icon (top right) when you login. We will automatically find your Facebook friends who are members, and help you spread the word to those who aren't.
  4. Automatically link note keywords to Wikipedia and Google - Auto-Link is note taking to the next level. As you type your notes, automatically link phrases to Wikipedia and Google by surrounding them in {curly brackets}. Coming soon: A note tagging system using auto-links.
  5. Never be out of the loop with todos - Stay organized by keeping todos for each of your classes. Missed a class? Click on a friend and see what's due.
  6. Keep your documents organized - Our integrated file manager allows you to keep your essays, reports, and other documents in a central location, sorted by class. Access your documents anywhere, any time.
  7. Create readable notes using keyword substitutions - Do you ever type govt instead of government? Do you want to save time by creating text shortcuts for markup? Keyword substitutions allow you to replace a specified keyword or phrase with another phrase. It's even case and plural-sensitive (i.e. Govts = Governments).
  8. Let's start chatting - Using note comments you will be able to correct mistakes in others' notes or simply discuss the material.
  9. October 15th: Privacy features - You will soon have the ability to create user access lists for everything. We urge users to make old notes public. Knock down useless barriers to knowledge! However, when you are taking a class, you might prefer to share with only a select circle of friends (thereby eliminating "leeching" issues). Private notes will still be searchable, but outside users must request access.
  10. Coming soon: RSS feeds and an API.
