The software can be easily activated or deactivated using a customer-created username and password. In addition, the software has an Unblock Sites feature which allows the owner to specify Approved websites that should not be blocked while the software is activated.

BUYBLOCK works in conjunction with existing parental controls, requires no monitoring by the owner, and can only be uninstalled with a username and password. The product currently works with Internet Explorer and AOL browsers.
