Get protected: Anti-spyware
It's important to run anti-spyware software on your PC as part of a program for safe surfing. For more related videos see the following topics on butterscotch.com.

Now with Dual-Core Anti-malware Technology, EDC 3.0 catches more viruses, spyware, and other threats. EDC 3.0 takes every new file and runs it through two distinct scanning engines. If either engine finds dangerous files or processes, the file is intercepted and removed - or "quarantined" - so that it can't harm the user's PC. EDC 3.0 has received West Coast Labs Checkmark certification.

CyberDefender's Argus Network uses the power of the community through a proprietary, peer-to-peer (P2P), relay network to protect users against Internet threats faster than most competing technologies. In recent tests, the Argus Network 3.0 blocked 10 times the number of phishing attacks against home PCs versus the previous 2.0 version, as well as demonstrating increased malware search capabilities. CyberDefender also enlists the power of multiple, strategic sources for data about phishing threats so that users are protected in "real time" from the newest, active phishing scams. Our Link Patrol browser plug-in protects you against phishing scams and malware downloads. New Custom Settings give you options to customize scheduled scan times, choose what PC areas to include or skip in scans, and more. Also includes monitoring the status of your Windows Firewall and Windows Updates for all-around security.

As a business owner who works from my home, i was glad to find a package like Cyberdefender that offers complete protection. I'm not in the computer security business, but I know when I'm protected against spyware, malware and trojan; all the bad stuff that can really bring a business crashing down.

I had Cyberdefender a while ago, but I let my subscription lapse because a friend of mine recommended their free AVG. I switched thinking AVG would give me the same protection, but not cost anything. I was wrong. My cmoputer caught a virus; I ran the free scanner and yep, sure enough, it found a few things. I re-upped on Cyberdefender, and I'll not be switching again!

This software walks you through everything you need to do to get your computer protected and cleaned up with easy to understand windows and instructions. It is so easy, I would recommend my mom to use it. Plus, since she's not the type of person to keep her computer registry clean, it's great for her. That's why I got this for last year, and I plan to renew it this year.

I wouldn't have downloaded this except for I knew I had a bug even though i had AV already; it just wasn't acting right. I downloaded it, and sure enough - it found a few things. (I knew it would - I should have just bought the package right away without doing the free download, but I wanted to see it first.) I had a couple of questions so I called there help desk and was surprised to speak to someone without having to sit on hold or an hour or two. Dana was very helpful and informative. She even told me about some of the other package options that have already proved to be beneficial to me.

Anyways, everythign is working great and now my computer is all cleaned up and protected well. :-)

I had been reading a lot about the CYberdefender products on quite a few sites. When I went to download it, I came to this site. After reading all of the great reveiws on here; I downloaded it last week. It found a few things. I had read you had to get the full version to get stuff off, and you do, but the things that I found make it really worth the investment already. So I thought I'd add my own reveiw too.

I was quite thrilled that CYberdefender is a NASDAQ company; that was actually was made me decide to purchase the package. I want to know my computer is backed by a company who has nothing to hide. We purchased the entire package so we could be fully covered. From identity theft protection, virus and malware scans and registry cleaner - it's a full package.

So I had tried the free versions of Cyberdefender, PC Tools, Webroot and AVG, most of which were just scanners. After trying these, I decided on the paid version of Cyberdefender (Sells for $29). The software is a complete package, even including the 24/7 computer help support, which doesn't come with many of the aforementioned options. Cyberdefender really is worth the try; I'm sure you'll decide to buy, just like I did.

I've read the free viris scan is very effective in identifying issues. It's not found anything yet, but I'm very comforted knowing that if it does, this program will protect my ocmputer.

Another security software left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth after my system crashed and I lost everything. After reading some reviews on different sites, including Carita1959's, and I decided to try this one. (If someone's been using this for a year and still loves it, then it's got to be good!)

I've not had it for long, and so far, the scan hasn't found anything, but I already feel better. Something this software offers that the other didn't, is the online backup. After having lost everything, I can see how this would be priceless.

I haven't paid for the upgrade yet, but I figure I will soon.

I agree with Carita1959 - this really does seem to be a good company with a valid product. Before I purchased the upgrade, I tried the free trial version and did some homework on the company. Cyberdefender is a public company and has been growing rapidly as one of the leading anti-malware companies. They offer several other Anti-Virus and Registry Cleaners to include DoubleMySpeed, MaxMySpeed & MyCleanPC.

They've got a great product line that is reliable and effective. I recommend Cyberdefender to anyone who uses a computer. They are a complete package, that covers antivirus, the spyware and even offers ID theft protection!

Well worth the investment.

Good program, easy to use. Free trial finds viruses, and you got to pay to fix everything. works well and if one of the better antivirus software that I have tried.

My neighbor recommended getting Cyberdefender after my computer crashed from what we suspect was a virus. We had had an antivirus program on our computer when we bought it, but I guess the subscription had run out or something and we didn't know it until it was too late and we lost everything; we thought we were protected. Now we know we are. We lost a lot of stuff that we couldn't get back, but thanks to Cyberdefender, if something like this would happen again (which we're certain it won't), they have live support who can help walk us through the process of fixing our computer. Thanks for the peace of mind Cyberdefender!

The free trial found 6 viruses on my system, but would only remove them if I buy the full software. Since they have a money back guarantee I decided to try it. It removed the viruses with no problem. Very easy to use. System runs great and no problems afterwards.

I got their mycleanpc.com registry cleaner and also bought the cyberdefender antivirus software with thier 24/7 computer help line. I like cyberdefender because it is very easy to use and good for a non-technical user like myself. The help line is good cuz if i have any computer question or problem I just call them and they help me out, well worth the price.

I got Cyberdefender after trying some other free programs, but they slowed my system down and a friend of mine told me about Cyberdefender. It is a little confusing about what is free or not, but the fact is companies need to make money else they can't support the software - and they use all kinds of ways do to that. I have removed Cyberdefender from my computer with out problems. So, I really like the Cyberdefender interface, scan times and that it found what I knew was on the system, including several programs/viruses/trojans that some of the others (PC Tools, SuperAntiVirus and Norton) missed.

I used it as a free scanner, but the free version does remove spyware and trojan, but you got to upgrade for virus. Evenually one came along, it caught it, and I bought the upgrade. Ran Cyberdefender after the upgrade, and virus was gone (it got into my rootkit and also got the vundo virus which it took care of.

I also like that the upgrade I got came with the 24/7 computer help, which was very helpful when I went on a trip, and my wife had a printer problem and called them (the 24/7 is not just for malware support, but for any kind of computer issue!!). They helped her out and had a positive experience with the Cyberdefender help line.

So, this is my experience with Cyberdefender - really good software. Granted, different people have different experiences, but this seems to be a good company with a valid product.

I had gotten some viruses on my computer in the last month, even though I had Norton anti-virus on my system and AVG – both were installed on my system by someone else. So, I looked at getting another anti-virus programs. I wanted to pay cuz my experience with free software had not been all that good. I looked at a few and liked Cyberdefender and a few others.

I chose Cyberdefender cause it seemed to be a more complete package, covering anti-virus, trojans, spyware, id theft protection.

I was thrilled that Cyberdefender is a NASDAQ public company, so i decided to get it. ANd oh, have i been glad I did. It has blocked some bad things from my system and I feel very safe.

I recommend Cyberdefender to anyone.
